Sam Andrus

As a U.S. Air Force veteran with six years of service, including deployments to Al Dhafra Air Base, Sam Andrus understands the value of discipline, innovation, and teamwork. His military career taught him to think outside the box and analyze processes holistically—skills that have become the foundation of GTI Consulting’s success.
 

Sam grew up in an entrepreneurial household in Northern Minnesota, where his family owned a small construction company. While the company eventually went bankrupt due to mismanagement, this experience inspired Sam’s mission: to help business owners avoid similar pitfalls by solving back-end challenges that often go unnoticed.

After his military service, Sam earned a degree in Enterprise Leadership and an Executive MBA from the University of Iowa, graduating with distinction. With years of experience as a business consultant, an area operations manager at Amazon, and a small business owner himself, Sam brings a deep understanding of small business challenges to every client relationship. 

 

Sam believes that growth must be defined by the business owner, whether it’s increasing revenue, improving profitability, or creating more time for family. His hands-on, partnership-driven approach ensures every solution is tailored to meet the unique needs of each business.​
